JAS Combi –Blade M-Coater uses a rubberized applicator roll to apply the coating material to the paper web. The coating is metered with a blade or metering rod. The change over from metering rod to blade or vice-versa is quick and easy. During the metering process, the web is supported by a rubberized backing roll that is motor-driven. As a result, variations in web tension have no direct influence on the final coated product.

For different coating applications such as pre-coating, middle, or final top coating, Jasmira supplies the appropriate metering components, such as a bent/stiff blade and rod.

Backing roll and applicator motor will be equipped with forced cooling. VFD drives will be provided for

applicator roll and metering rod motors. PLC system with HMI will also be provided.

● The coater has bilateral edge spray device for wetting the part of backing roll which is not covered

by web. This prevents pre-mature damage of roll and blade due to overheating.

● MS frame with SS304 Cladding. Tray and contact parts will be of SS304 construction.

● Suitable for speeds from 50-500 mpm
